Our Internet roots began in 1997 as web development firm providing customized Miva and ASP shopping cart systems for multi-merchant eCommerce malls.  After experiencing rapid growth we soon found that the hosting services which we were purchasing lacked in two areas: Customer service and accessibility to support. When one of our customers web servers went down due to a server malfunction 2:00am lost revenue for our clients began accumulating and we needed immediate action. At that time around-the-clock support services were almost non-existent and we did not receive the type of response that we felt a customer should received. Many times our "after-hours" support needs were not addressed until the next morning and some weekend situations were not resolved until the following Monday. Such service was insufficient for the needs of our clients. In our research for hosting alternatives we found that many web development firms experienced these same situations. Therefore, because of our desire to provide a higher quality of hosting services to our clients and others in the industry we entered the hosting market. We began providing our hosting servers to other developers and by February 1998, We-Host.com was born. By 1999 our web development services were phased out and we began concentrating only on providing reliable web hosting services. We-Host.com was formed from knowing what a customer needs from their hosting provider and what a hosting provider should do for their customers.  As our experience in providing hosting services continued to increase, so did our needs for additional growth space for hosting equipment.  In October 2000 the need for additional space was resolved when we moved into our current facility. With several thousand square feet of facility space, and the ability for additional expansion, our new facility now provides services to web sites for our world-wide customer base.  In 2000 we were one of the first web hosting providers to provide 24 hour, 7 day per week live chat directly on our web site so that customers could contact us at any time without toll charges from anywhere in the world, and we could provide assistance and step-by-step guidance for any type of web hosting situation. Since that point in time our live service has gone through several enhancements to increase the level of service quaity. In July 2002 we phased out all reliance's on "external" hosting facilities and became completely self contained. Over time our facilities have continued to be modified to provide to our customers a high-capacity data infrastructure, and waterless fire suppression system and fully redundant backup facilities including power, data, hardware and staff. Our continual commitment to network infrastructure upgrades allows us to provide the services for our existing customers and has the facilities in place for rapid upgrades when they are needed.  We are in full management of all hosting servers and can therefore provide our clients with rapid response to any of their needs in a manner which provides sound reliability and priority response on all hosting issues.
